Depression is a common and serious medical illness that can see highly among people.It is an illness that involves the body, mood, and thoughts and affects the person eats, sleeps, feels about himself or herself, and think about things.

- Symptoms: It is a physical or mental feature which is regarded as indicating a condition of disease, particularly such a feature that is apparent to the patient.
Suppose: you may be depressed for more than two weeks, you have felt sad, down or miserable most of the time or have lost interest or pleasure in usual activities,so this all are the sing or depression symptoms.
Why people get depressed?
Depression affects people of every age, economic situation, and race. Even though depression is common ” especially in youngsters ” some people get depressed but others don’t. Why?
People get depressed for different reasons like: Some of it is biology — things like our genes, brain chemistry, and hormones. Some is environment, including daylight and seasons, or social and family situations we face in daily life. And some of them includes personal issues, like how we react to life events or the support systems we create for ourselves. All these things can help shape whether or not a person becomes depressed.
- Life Events
The death of a family member or friend can be caused to depressed, Other difficult life events that happen in life — such as when parents divorce or separate, or remarry or argument — can lead to be depressed.
Whether or not difficult life situations lead to depression can depend a lot on how well a person is able to deal, stay positive, and receive support.
- Family and Social Environment
For some people, a negative, stressful, or unhappy family atmosphere can lead to be depressed. Other high-stress living situations — such as poverty, homelessness, or violence or being an orphan — can contribute, to be depressed. Dealing with harassment, or peer pressure leaves some people feeling isolated, victimized, or insecure.
- Reacting to Life Situations
As you know that Life is full of ups and downs. Stress, difficulties, and setbacks happen. How we react to life’s struggles issues a lot. A person’s outlook can contribute to depression — or it can help guard against it.
It is up to us that how we deal with the problems, it belongs to us that how we face with the problem, and to stay positive and not to lead to depress us.
