Ramadan is one of the most important months for all Muslim. In the Holy Quran, it is explicitly mentioned That Muslims will take fast in this month from sunrise to sunset. After a few days once again the most important month of Ramadan will come with its innumerable blessings. Fasting is mentioned in several verses of the Holy Quran. Ramadan is characterized not just by its obligation on each Muslim to keep away from certain things which are allowed in other months. Fasting and Blessing Given By Allah Almighty
It is the Month to the oath to Allah for good deeds and to stay away from certain deeds. The blessing of Ramadan is too many to be counted. This blessing is given by Allah Almighty to the fasting Muslims. Laylat al-qadar is also known as shabe qadar and it is a public holiday in several countries which observed on the 27th day of Ramadan.

How to Fast?
Ramadan means to abstain completely from foods, drinks, and smoking, before the break of the dawn till sunset. Fasting in Month of Ramadan is compulsory upon every adult Muslim, Male, and Female. Fasting is strongly recommende by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) to observe these great practices during the Month of Ramadan.
The one who has these qualifications fasting is compulsory upon them:
- To be mentally and physically fit, it means to be able to take fast
- To be reached at full aged or to be adult enough to take fast. Like, children under the age of fourteen should encourage for fasting.
- Not to be on a journey about fifty limes.
- To be fairly certain that fasting would not harm you both physically and mentally.
Iftar is an evening meal with which Muslims end their daily Ramadan Fast at sunset. All Muslim break their fast at the call to prayer (Adhan/Azan) for the evening prayer. People make different dishes for Iftar. At the time of call prayer, all the family member get together and then they would break their fast. Before eating anything Muslims use to recite the special dua that that is for iftar.
Ramadan is the Month of blessing and prays in which all Muslim around the world fast for the sake of Allah Almighty. The month of Ramadan is the best chance to get closer to Allah Almighty. And also This Month is a great opportunity to ask for forgiveness for all those sins that we committed in the past years. In Month of Ramadan, Muslims spent the last 10 days of Ramadan in the mosque for a certain time in order to “worship” the Lord, that is calle Itikaf. If I explain it in simple words so, I could say that Itikaf is a kind of worship that Muslims perform it during the last 10 days of Ramadan.
Itikaf is an Islamic practice consisting of a period of staying in a mosque for specific days in Month of Ramadan. In Itikaf people devoting themselves to Ibadan during these certain days and staying away from worldly affairs.

The word Tarahiw is an Arabic word which means Relaxation. Tarawih refers to extra prayers in Month of Ramadan. It belongs only an only to Sunni Muslims and it would perform at night. Tarahiw would perform after isha’s prayer, It can be performe at home, alone or in a congregation wherever you feel comfortable. In most of the mosque, One juz of the Holy Quran would recite each night after Tarawih.
Zakat al Fitr
Zakat al Fitr is a form of charity in the Muslims community. This charity would give to the poor people after fasting in Month of Ramadan. Every able Muslims must pay Zakat al Fitr. It must be pay before the Eid’s prayer in the morning.
